1. What is the name of your blog and how did you come up with it??
It's Me Again, Pamela - I do a lot of Youtube videos and I had gotten where I would start out by saying "hey, it's me again, Pamela" - and if I would forget - someone would comment that I forgot to do that - so it kind of became my thing to do. I thought it would make a good blog name.
2. What do you love the most about blogging??
I have always liked writing - I got really good grades in high school and college with my writing. It has just carried over into my adult life - I used to keep diaries and journals. Plus I have made some really good friends, Sylvia, Trinity, Brit and Shasta - and a few others. It is a great way to document things, learn about others and just have that freedom of expressing yourself.
3. What are your 2 favorite posts you've written?
Bringing Back Childhood Memories
God Has Given Me A Ministry
Summer of Angels
4. What is something you'd want to tell someone just starting out in blog world?
Don't get too excited seeing your numbers go up. I have over 500 followers but obviously they are not all readers - it seems the ones that even get looked at are the ones attached to someone elses link parties. Very few "stand a lone" posts get read - which is kind of sad. I would say out of 500 followers maybe 15 actually read on a regular basis.
5. Biggest blogging learning experience you've had?
Just making my new friends - I love when God uses my blog to connect me to someone else. I have made a couple of really good friends that has to be a God thing, a real blessing.
6. Give us 3 blogs we NEED to be following that you love.
Cinderella's Corner I love love love her blog. She writes of simpler times, growing up, she is a poet and such a fine Christian lady - she is a true writer - and is working on a book in real life.
Bee LittleQueen this gal is so inspiring to me. She is sweet and kind and such a little ball of fire. She is a good writer and writes from the heart.
Boo' Basket one of my good friends plus she is a fellow Texan. I enjoy reading her blog and she always brightens my day when I see what she has going on in her neck of the woods.
Enjoyed reading your Sunday Social post. Hope you have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteI still get excited to see blogger numbers grow...but you're right, it's more important that people are actually reading and interacting on your blog. And I like that your blog name came from a phrase that you had a habit of saying for youtube! Cool!
