It's Ok that they had to stick me in 3 different areas until they could find a vein that wouldn't collapse. 3 sticks in each hand to be exact - and then they finally went in on the side of my left hand. OUCH!
It's Ok that I have some nice bruises after above incident.
It's Ok that it took me almost 2 hours to get to my pre-op destination. Traffic was backed up for miles and miles because they were taking 3 huge trucks down Bay Area Blvd and they had motorcycle cops, utility trucks and guys in buckets going the length of the area - raising lights and trimming trees that were apparently in the way of the 3 huge trucks.
It's Ok that I was 40 minutes late for my pre-op due to above traffic situation.
It's Ok that I had to remove my pretty shellac polish myself because I couldn't have polish on for the surgery. By the time I found out - it was too late to have them removed by my nail place, so I just did it myself. (and my manicure was only one week old! :-(
