It has been a good while since I have given an update on my grandson, Tucker. He is the little guy who was born with his "soft spot" closed and had to have surgery when he was 4 months old. He was to wear a helmet for 6 - 8 months, but after ONE month - his parents were told that the helmet did in one month what they hoped it would do in 6 - 8 months - so no more helmet!! thank goodness - the summer months would have been horrible!
He is now 8 months old and he was just here in Texas for the weekend. They arrived Friday evening and left this morning (Monday - July 4th) We had a great time and I even got to baby sit for most of the day Sunday while his mommy & daddy went to the Astros/Red Sox game. We had such a good time...he is just the sweetest. He LOVES the pool - pepaw bought him a swim ring and put up canopies so there was lots of shade. Check out the pic of him with his little Texas swim hat. Too cute!
Anyway - you can't see his scar unless you know it is there and then you have to look for it. His head is perfectly shaped now. His little dimples are always shining and he has the brightest blue eyes - they just make me melt. I know I may be a little prejudice, but I do believe he has to be one of the best babies ever!
PS I took him to have his photos made while he was here. He was so good - the photographer said he was the easiest ever.
We had a great time! :) I know Tucker did!
