Goodbye 2012 Hello 2013

So here it is...2013.

2012 has come and gone...and it was a pretty good year. Actually it was a very good year.
We found a church that we love and became members.  We have made some wonderful new friends and really feel like we have gained an extended family.

I began guitar lessons back in march as a surprise for my husband and can play quite a few worship and praise songs. I only took lessons for about 5 months but know the basics now and Brad and I can "jam" together. We bought 2 new Martin guitars.

I spent my spring break in Arkansas alternating between my parents and my sons homes. We had such a good time. I was able to spend some time with one of my friends that I hadn't seen in 13 years.

In the summer, my youngest grand girl made her first trip to Texas. Two whole weeks of
fun...swimming, crafting, shopping.  The highlight for her was seeing dolphins and feeding stingrays.

We stepped up our technology and my husband and I both bought iPads. We took down the desks and computers and now we are surfing in the comfort of our recliners.

We spent Thanksgiving in San Marcos with Brad's family and Christmas in Arkansas with my family.

We ended the year with colds but all in all, we are healthy.  We are looking forward to what 2013 will bring us and our prayer is we grow stronger in The Lord and His plan for us is made clear.
