First, let me say that we always celebrate our Valentine's Day early if we are going to eat out at a nice restaurant, because neither of us can stand a long wait and that is usually one of the most crowded nights of the year pretty much any where you go. So we chose Sunday as our Valentine's Day. We decided to take a little trip to Galveston where we ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. - soooo good! I had the Shrimp Scampi and he had Gumbo - amazing! Then we drove around Galveston just sight seeing (or so I thought). What HE was actually doing was trying to figure out why Bad Boyz was not where it was supposed to be - we drove around The Strand, up and down the Seawall Blvd. - and finally he had to spill the surprise. He wanted to have "PAMELA" tattooed on his arm! Swwwwwwweeeeeeet! I was so thrilled - I got right on my iPhone and started looking for Bad Boyz myself. That is when we found out that it was no longer in Galveston but in Clearlake. That did not discourage him at all. We just high tailed it right back down the road on to Clearlake. Of course we get there and they only take cash - so back in the car to the nearest ATM, but less than 30 minutes later - this was on my hubby's arm.
As if that wasn't sweet enough, this morning I find a box of chocolates and a beautiful card sitting in my computer desk chair.
My Valentine to him wasn't nearly so special. I bought him a personalized iPad case from Shutterfly, but he loved it!
Happy Valentines Day!
Now, I think that is really romantic. I love when Hubby surprises me with something unusual. It's not about the gift or the size of the gift. To me, it's the gesture of love.

He is a sweetie~thanks for stopping by!
DeleteSweet! I have always decided to not get any significant others names tattooed on myself. I do have my sons name. But here lately I dont think it would be a bad idea because tattoos are a story of your life..Not judgement here.
ReplyDeleteI certainly understand that! My step son and his now ex wife have each others names around their ankles. Both still have them and have been divorced several years.Neither can afford to have them removed.
DeleteThat is really sweet. I am not a tattoo person at all - but I understand those that are - they are very meaningful and that is AWESOME !!
ReplyDeleteI don't like to see necks, bald heads, hands, legs, or pretty much any where they cannot be covered up with clothing - man or woman. That is just my preference. Every time my husband sees a woman with one on her leg he says "she just ruined a perfectly good leg." lol
