The 4-1-1 on PaMeLa - Link Up!

Here is a fun link up hosted by From Mrs. to Mama - get the 411 on your bloggin' friends - so here is the 411 on Pamela.

1. How long have you been blogging? I actually started blogging in 2009 and back then my blog was for my nail art and promoting my Youtube videos and diapercakes. I didn't really get serious about it and change my style until 2011 and seriously since 2012.
And what got you started on blogging?I was doing a lot of contests to promote my videos and this was a good way to have people enter my contests.  Has your blog changed? I blog about life in general now - I have 2 blogs - one dedicated to crafting and sewing and then this one is more about everyday living.
2. Did you go to college?  Yes If so where, and what did you study? University of Central Arkansas - I studied Psychology and Special Education
3. Where have you traveled? I have been on 3 cruises and over half the states. I have been to Mexico several times.
4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would buy? A new house and car/truck for every member of our family.
5. What are your 3 biggest pet peeves? 1. People who don't do what they say they are going to do. 2. People who drop in unannounced and then stay and stay not even considering I may have plans. 3. People who want you to listen to everything about themselves, their kids, etc, but act like they could care less about your life.
6. What is your favorite movie? The Notebook
7. What is your drink of choice; wine, beer, or liquor. Not really a drinker, but if I had to choose something I would choose champagne. Or Water, Soda, Tea? Diet Coke or gourmet coffee
8. What is something you enjoy to do when you have me time? I prefer to shop alone, so shopping
9. If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be? Coach
10. Share with us an embarrassing moment of your past? Or present. I am sure there are plenty but none comes to mind that I can share...;-)
11. What day would you love to relive again? Actually would have to be a week - our first cruise together was for our 1st anniversary and my 40th birthday. We had so much fun!
12. If your life was turned into a movie... what actor would play you? Meg Ryan
13. What are the jobs you had in high school/college/the early years? Assistant Manager at Chicken Country, McDonalds, Dairy Bar
14. Show us a picture from high school or college. I will update if I can find one.
 15. If you could travel anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go? Italy
16. Show us the most current picture of you or you, or your family, or anything of meaning to you. This is a photo of my Bradley and 4 of our grandangels taken at Christmas.

17. Where do you see your life 5 years from now? Hopefully getting ready to retire and move closer to family. Sooner if we would just win the lottery!!

My Invisalign Journey added to Invisalign Review

I was contacted today by Jess, an admin for the new Invisalign Review website asking me to submit a review of my Invisalign Journey and they wanted to add my final update video that I did for Youtube to their new website. I was quite suprised since my video wasn't 100% glowing - they stated in their request that was the appealing part - I gave a "genuine" view .

My 1st e-mail:

Hi Pamela,

We loved your genuine review of Invisalign (in the video called "Invisalign Braces My Final Update Review") and we were wondering whether you would like to feature it on our new Invisalign Reviews website?
You'd really be helping us out, plus we think this will help you to get more "views", especially as our website becomes more popular. (Our site is currently ranked on the first page in Google search results but our goal is to get it to position #1.)
It's free, of course -- we just ask that you create a post in the forum and fill in a template with some info about your experience with Invisalign. You don't need to give answers to all the questions, and you don't need to write much if you don't want to, although the more detailed reviews will be listed at the top of the list of reviews once we get more of them.
The website is here: http://www.Invisalign-Reviews.com and the instructions for writing a review are here: http://www.invisalign-reviews.com/forum/invisalign-reviews/how-to-submit-a-review-t24.html
Once you write a review, we will embed your YouTube video into the post for you. We can also include a link to your YouTube channel (so people can watch your other videos) if you'd like that -- just paste your channel URL at the bottom of your review post and we'll make it a clickable link.
You can email us at admin@invisalign-reviews.com if you have any questions or if we can help with anything.
Thanks a lot and we're looking forward to seeing your review on the site!
Cheers,
Jess

2nd email: (after my reply)

Re: Your Invisalign Review Hi Pamela,

Great, we're looking forward to seeing your review on the site. It's nice that your review seemed to be a bit more critical than most of the others out there - Invisalign is indeed becoming more popular and it's important for people to know that there are cons as well as pros!
We think the site should be working smoothly by now, but please let us know if you have any issues, suggestions or if we can help in any way.
Thanks,
Jess

I submitted my review just this evening and they have already posted it the website along with one of my videos.

Lyrical Monday

I would like to begin a new post each Monday  entitled "Lyrical Monday" - which will be the lyrics to a song that has touched my heart or has been on my mind. I may or may not post the reason(s) behind the chosen lyrics. I will include the artist and may even post a great video link to go with it. :-)

My first Lyrical Monday post:

Walk By Faith
artist: Jeremy Camp

Would I believe you when you would say
Your hand will guide my every way
Will I receive the words You say
Every moment of every day

[chorus]

Well I will walk by faith
Even when I cannot see
Well because this broken road
Prepares Your will for me
Help me to rid my endless fears
You've been so faithful for all my years
With one breath You make me new
Your grace covers all I do

Yeah, yeah , yeah, yeah, yeah, ya

[chorus]

Well I'm broken- but I still see Your face
Well You've spoken- pouring Your words of grace

[chorus x2]

Well hallelujah, hallelu
(I will walk by faith)
Well hallelujah, hallelu
(I will walk by faith)

I will walk, I will walk, I will walk by faith
I will, I will, I will walk by faith.

This song has been my theme song since the first time I ever heard it. When I had my first phone that could have ringtones, this was my first ringtone downloaded. At one time I had a website that I entitled "Walk By Faith" but I shut it down when MSN began to charge for their websites.
I love the scripture this song is based from...2 Corinthians 5:6-8 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord - for we walk by faith, not by sight- we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.

If you ever heard Jeremy Camp's testimony then you will know that he wrote this song on his honeymoon after marrying the woman he loved who had ovarian cancer and died just months later.
