You know if this were a regular work week then I would be excited for Thursday - because it means it would be that much closer to Friday which means the weekend is upon us - BUT since I am on summer vaca - every day closer to Friday and the weekend means another step closer to summer vaca ending - and you know what that means? Back to work I go! Boo Hiss!
However - it IS Thursday - so can't stop time from marchin' on.
So...
It's Ok that my summer vacation is more than half over - it is what it is.
It's Ok that today is my last day of "just me" because my hubby is taking the next week off and it starts tomorrow.
It's Ok that we have no special plans - since we have already spent our summer budget money - we will just have to enjoy our "togetherness" at home.
It's Ok that I am already a week past time getting my highlights and my roots are standing out like a sore thumb, I am just too lazy right now to get it taken care of.
It's Ok that I am going to have to get dressed and put on make up just to go to the pharmacy today.
It's Ok that I still haven't gotten the hang of Instagram - but I still love it.
It's Thursday and
...It's Ok that it has rained every single day this week...means no pool, but I know we need the rain.
...It's Ok that I have eaten fast foods every single day for 2 weeks. I have company and we have been on the go daily.
...It's Ok that I have not lost a single pound in 2 weeks (see above)
...It's Ok that my house is a TOTAL wreck right now - I have 2 of my grandangels here and it ain't nothin' but a thang - time with them is more important.
...It's Ok that my body is aching like crazy from wii bowling and dancing - we had a blast.
I am so thankful to have my mom and the 2 girls here for 2 weeks. We take them back home to Arkansas tomorrow :-( we have really had a great time with them. I have colored, put together puzzles, eaten out, danced, made crafts, taught sewing, eaten out, swam, shopped til we dropped, eaten out, gone to 4 movies, made Youtube videos, story time at the library, had delux pedis...and it has all been fun. I am really going to miss them.

It's Ok that my fav nail polish for the summer is bright blue.
It's Ok that I ate a huge bowl of ice cream at 10 p.m. last night
It's Ok that I bought another Vera Bradley purse this week.
It's Ok that even though I am super excited about having my mom and 2 of my grandangels here - I dread the drive to Arkansas.
It's Ok that I got in a heated discussion with the surgery center from my gallbladder surgery - I refused to go back to them for my check up and opted to see my primary care physician instead.
It's Ok that I watched the Daytime Emmy awards 2 times - and was disappointed both times.
I am thankful that I will be picking up my mom and 2 of my girlie grands tomorrow! They will be spending the next 2 weeks here in TX with us. So happy! Then in 2 weeks I will be seeing my Tucker Boo! He is my youngest cutest grandboy.
