Happy Friday 13th.
This is the day that the Lord hath made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. Not going to give in to superstition!

1. What's your view on men wearing sandals (yay or nay)?
NAY on sandals - feet are not pretty - and men's feet are generally even less pretty. Flip Flops are ok with the right clothing - but sandals (especially with socks - UGH)
2. What song do you love but are embarrassed to admit?
Alien by Katy Perry - it is kind of catchy - but the words are kind of silly
3. What summer camp should they make for moms?
Camp GimmeABreak - all mom's need a break every now and then.
4. What is the most romantic song? (Not necessarily your favorite or your wedding song...)
Amazed by Lonestar
5. Do you have an embarrassing pregnancy story?
Yep - and it is too embarrassing to put in black and white.

1. What's your favorite childhood snack that you still eat as an adult? Peanut Butter on a spoon
2. What food will you not eat the low fat version of? Cheese! It tastes horrible to me!

4. What's your favorite summer read? I am still working on The Hunger Games trio
5. What are you doing to stay cool in this awful heat? See question #3

Five Crooked Halos
1. What do you keep a stock pile of?
paper products - paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates, napkins - my hubby says I am not happy if I don't have a good stock of my paper products. (weird, huh?)
2. If Ben & Jerry asked you to invent an ice cream, what would it be? It would definitely have cherries in it - whole ones - I love cherries - and an exotic nut - like Brazillian - with a touch of coconut - they could call it Pam-A-Cherr-A-Coca-licious!
3. How do you blow off steam? Vent to a friend. I usually feel better after I talk about whatever ticks me off out loud.
4. What would you do if you had an hour to yourself anywhere within a ten mile radius of your home...no kids, no hubby, just you? I have that all the time since my kids are grown - and actually since I have virtually no family here in Texas - it is just me and hubby - so I have plenty of "me" time.
5. When you were 16, what was your curfew in the summertime? The same as it was for Spring, Fall and Winter - 12 - midnight.

5 Question Friday
Linking up with My Little Life for 5 Question Friday
1. What advice would you give a couple getting married? Don't assume you know everything there is to know about each other - it takes about 2 - 3 years before you even meet the "real" person you married - statistics show it takes about that long before the other person is relaxed enough to let their hair down and be themselves. (of course some show way earlier!) Marriage is an ever growing process - so be prepared to always be learning about the other person.
2. If you could tell your 16 year old self ONE thing, what would it be? Tough one - there are SO many things! I think mainly to enjoy your teen years - slow down - growing up comes quickly enough - choose your friends wisely - stay on track with your dreams and don't let "love" sway you.
3. What do you do to keep cool in the summer? (AC, windows, fans, swimming, etc.)
We have a pool - so that is a big help. Our ceiling fans go year round - I can't sleep without it - plus I have a small fan that I turn on around March and it goes til around October.
4. What did you (or your wife) crave most while pregnant? green olives and shrimp the entire time but I went through a peanut brittle, chocolate oatmeal cookies and chocolate covered cherries phase at the end.
5. Who is your favorite TV mom? Why? Showing my age here - but Carol Brady has always been my favorite TV mom from the Brady Bunch. She always had it so together and with 6 kids. I know she had a maid, but she just always looked so great and always had a smile. I would be crazy with 6 kids! lol
