I haven't been posting Weigh In Friday lately because, well, there just hasn't been anything to report. Not so much fun to keep posting the same weight over and over each week BUT at least I am still holding on!

 1. What's your view on men wearing sandals (yay or nay)?

NAY on sandals - feet are not pretty - and men's feet are generally even less pretty. Flip Flops are ok with the right clothing - but sandals (especially with socks - UGH)

2. What song do you love but are embarrassed to admit?

Alien by Katy Perry - it is kind of catchy - but the words are kind of silly

3. What summer camp should they make for moms? 

Camp GimmeABreak - all mom's need a break every now and then.

4. What is the most romantic song? (Not necessarily your favorite or your wedding song...)

Yep - and it is too embarrassing to put in black and white.

Confession Time: Linking up with Blonde Ambition

I knew my husband was grilling hamburgers but I still stopped at Taco Bell on my way home and scarfed down 2 Mexi Melts.

I did a post about how my husband reacted when I told him I had been taking secret guitar lessons and I had a hidden video recorder going. He told me I better not put the video on Youtube - I agreed not to - but I pulled several photos out of the video and used them - he doesn't read my blog - so he won't ever see them. (they aren't the best shots of him since I intentionally pulled shots of surprised looks) You can read the post and see the pics  here .


I have been watching DWTS and American Idol since they started this season and even tho I won't miss a single show - I am really not liking AI at all. I think this is the worst year yet - I am disappointed with who is left - I am glad Skylar was sent home - but I really lost interest after Colton left. :-(
With DWTS - I was glad Urkel finally went home...or Jaleel or whatever his name is. I want Melissa Gilbert to win.

I came close to buying a new Vera Bradley purse this week. I bought 3 in April and promised myself I wouldn't buy any more for awhile - so at least I kept the promise (so far!)

I got excited when I saw She's Having A Baby was on TV tonight - corny movie but I love it! I alway cry when she is in labor and he thinks she is going to die.

High Five For Friday

I am a wee bit late on my first High Five For Friday post, but that's ok!

I had such a funtastic week - it will be hard to narrow it down to my high 5! It was Spring Break -I was in Arkansas all week - but here goes!

1. Being with 4 of my grandangels....Alayna(12) Brooklyn (10) Lilypie (5) and Tucker (16 months)

2. Spending time with my daughter.

3. Shopping, playing dominoes and exercising with my mom

4. Teaching my grandangels how to make potato cakes and making a HUGE mess!

5. Spending 2 nights with my son and daughter in law.
